Shane Patrick

Building Design Specialist Manager — Portland

Shane interned with Neil Kelly while earning his degree in Housing Studies/Design (NKBA Accredited) from Oregon State University, a move that proved fortuitous. After working elsewhere as a remodeler, learning firsthand about structures, Shane eventually heard the Neil Kelly siren song calling. He came back into the NK fold, where he has stood for architectural and structural design and integrity for more than 22 years.

In addition to teaching classes on Design, Permitting, Doors and Windows, he helped draft the initial Neil Kelly AutoCAD and Chief Architect Standards and sits on the NARI NW/ORA Code Committee. Having in-depth knowledge about building design and codes enables Shane to communicate effectively with other members of the Neil Kelly design team, trade partners, and clients alike.
